Gnosis

GNOSIS is a journal of philosophy published by graduate students under the auspices of the Department of Philosophy at Concordia University in Montreal Quebec. Gnosis was founded in 1973, and has provided students with an opportunity to gain exposure of their work in the public sphere. Most submissions to our journal are usually by graduate students, but exceptional undergraduate work is also welcomed. We follow a blind peer-review procedure to ensure fair, and anonymous assessment of all submissions. Gnosis is committed in maintaining a high standard of philosophical rigor and quality with our publications.

Call for Papers: Vol.13 No.1 (2014)

 

Deadline: January 12, 2014

GNOSIS is published by graduate students under the auspices of the Concordia University Department of Philosophy in Montréal. We are currently seeking submissions for our winter 2014 issue. Papers in any area of philosophical interest are welcome, though we encourage in particular papers addressing topics in continental philosophy.

Authors can submit papers directly online after registering. Please provide a short abstract (between 150-400 words) along with your submitted paper (no set limit, but submissions under 7000 words are preferable). We will also be accepting book reviews (2000 word maximum) for books published within the last year. Detailed instructions and guidelines for the authors are available here. Submissions must be blinded for peer-review.
